Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Award Flight Monitor and our global airline coverage.

✈️ Airlines & Partners

Which airlines can I monitor with this tool?

Our tool scans for award availability across over 30 different airlines, including the full oneworld Alliance and their global partners.

oneworld Alliance Partners:
  • Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, Royal Jordan, and SriLankan Airlines.
Global & Regional Partners:
  • Aer Lingus, Air Tahiti Nui, Condor, Hainan Airlines, Icelandair, Korean Air, LATAM, Oman Air, Philippine Airlines, Porter Airlines, Singapore Airlines, and STARLUX.
  • Regional partners including Aleutian Airways, Bahamasair, Cape Air, Contour Airlines, Kenmore Air, Mokulele Airlines, and Southern Airways Express.

Can I search for international destinations?

Absolutely. Through Alaska's partnerships, our monitors can check availability for over 1,000 global destinations across Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Americas.

Does this tool search every possible award seat?

We monitor award availability that is bookable through our primary partner search engine. This covers an extensive range of partner flights (over 30+ carriers), but it is a subset of all possible award seats. Some airlines may release additional space exclusively to their own loyalty programs that isn't visible through partner networks.

🔍 How It Works

How often does the bot check for flights?

On our Pro Plan, the bot checks for availability at least once every 10 minutes. On the Free Plan, it checks once every 60 minutes. Because award space can disappear in minutes, we recommend the Pro Plan for popular routes like Seattle to Tokyo or Europe.

How does this compare to other award search tools?

Unlike many other tools that only refresh their data every several hours or even days, Award Flight Monitor is specifically designed for speed. Our systems query for availability as often as once every 10 minutes (on the Pro Plan). This gives you a massive advantage for high-demand routes where seats are often claimed within minutes of appearing.

What is "Partner Business" class?

Airlines often categorize business class seats on partner carriers specifically as "Partner Business". These are often the most valuable redemptions available with airline miles, and our bot is specifically tuned to find these high-value seats.

Are alert notifications deduplicated?

Yes. By default, we deduplicate notifications for the same fare within a 24-hour window to avoid spamming you. On our Pro Plan, you can customize this "cooldown" period for each alert independently, choosing anywhere from 1 to 48 hours.

💳 Billing & Access

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. You can manage your subscription directly from the Billing tab in your dashboard. If you cancel, you will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

Is there a discount for annual billing?

Yes! Our Annual plan is $80/year, which works out to about $6.67/month—a 17% savings compared to the monthly plan.
